About
Hello, I’m Melayna.
I’m originally from Auckland, New Zealand, and relocated to Brisbane in late 2024. Since then, I’ve been working as part of the practitioner team at Vive Health. I have three years’ experience in naturopathic practice, working with clients presenting with a range of clinical concerns.
I practise naturopathy as a collaborative, holistic, and client-centred discipline, working closely with each individual to understand their health history, current presentation, and long-term goals. From there, I develop personalised treatment plans that draw on nutritional medicine, herbal prescribing, and targeted diet and lifestyle strategies, informed by both traditional principles and contemporary evidence.
I have a particular interest in personalised nutritional and herbal compounding, as well as herbal medicine more broadly, where formulations can be tailored to the individual rather than relying on standardised approaches. My work focuses on practical, sustainable change over time.
Creating a space where people feel comfortable, heard, and supported is central to how I practise. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and value working with people from culturally diverse and LGBTQI+ communities.
