What was the initial concept idea for Evohe and how has it changed as it the business has evolved?
Our personal lifestyle choices built upon a desire to create an ethical business that benefits all. Evohe is definitely a lifestyle company. We never intended for it to simply be a skincare company…One thing I realised after being disappointed with raw materials many times was that there are always alternatives. Going from a home based company to a 400sqm warehouse in the GC has seen the business organically grow and stick to its ethics.
What are the favourites in your range and why?
Favourites are… Repair Intensive, EVOHE Colours Mineral Foundation, 3.6.9 Omega. Customers love these products for different reasons – Repair Intensive is extremely versatile – has a number of multiple applications from healing burns to treating acne. Evohe Colours is very popular because its the first makeup of its kind to be made fresh as a liquid foundation (no preservatives) by mixing with 3.6.9 Omega. Also contains SPF 24. Evohe Colours can also be applied as a dry powder foundation. 3.6.9 Omega is another favourite – again, very versatile product with multiple applications. It’s extremely nourishing and great to use throughout all the seasons. Also perfect for healing scars. Both Repair Intensive and 3.6.9 Omega are also great for treating common skin conditions such as Dermatitis & Eczema.
What are some of the most memorable moments to date?
Beginning as a home business and seeing it grow so rapidly. In 2011 Meg and Barry took the leap and took on another 400sqm. We can literally have a party in the factory now! Another memorable moment was opening EVOSPA at EVOHE Headquarters in 2012. EVOSPA is a safe haven for the conscious consumer. Using all natural EVOHE products, our experienced therapists create a customised and nurturing experience to revitalise yourself on every level.
Long term goals for Evohe?
Expanding internationally. We’re currently looking into Japan, China, UK & USA. Exciting times ahead!
