Renee Hannah
I am a wife and mother to 4 daughters. I have been married for 15years and also high school sweethearts.
I’ve been a remedial massage therapist for 3 years, a Pregnancy Massage Australia NurtureLife Practitioner for 5 years. I first studied remedial massage in 2012. While I decided to study massage to help treat a rare health condition in one of my daughters I quickly developed a passion for pregnancy massage. I have learnt through previous work environments about women’s health and the importance of pelvic floor exercise. I would also love to studies Pilates to further help women with pelvic floor health through pregnancy and from early teens with my daughters.
When I’m not massaging, you’ll find me enjoying the plant section at Bunnings or drooling over a new house plant I may have “found”.
My special interest areas are:
- Remedial massage (including Relaxation)
- Pregnancy Massage
Qualifications:
- Diploma Remedial Massage
- Pregnancy Massage Australia 2015

The life-changing moment that steered me on my remedial massage journey came after the birth of my beautiful daughter. After many years working in the corporate world, this little person gazing up at me, totally reliant on me, gave me a new appreciation for just how fundamental wellbeing is. I realised that I needed a change of career, one where I could help others on their path to wellbeing.
I believe that massage is not simply about physical therapy. Its holistic approach to health also helps to nurture emotional and mental health, alleviating stress and equipping us to manage all of the challenges that life throws at us.
I obtained my Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2019 through Q Academy in Brisbane. During my studying and practical training, I had the privilege of massaging a selection of clients in the early stages of their pregnancy. I had a very strong connection with these clients, as I experienced a particularly anxious time during my own pregnancy. Understanding how important it is to relax and take some time to de-stress and nurture your body, I developed an interest in pregnancy massage.
I am blessed to have a cheeky little 4-year-old daughter who keeps me on my toes and reminds me every day to enjoy the simple things in life.
My training included Remedial, Deep Tissue, Sports and Relaxation massage. I am looking forward to undertaking the Pregnancy Massage Australia training this month.
